Depending on qualifications, this position may be supervised or independent, or both. Handyman/woman will provide service to Home Worx customers in home or business. 

 

Specific Responsibilities:

• Assist in completing small to medium repairs, remodeling, and home improvement projects.

  • Drywall repair, caulking, changing door locks, painting, basic electrical, ceiling fans, hanging pictures, tile work, ​light plumbing, repairing fence panels or decking.

• Assist in completing carpentry and construction projects.

  • Cabinetry, countertops, shelving, framing, hanging drywall, flooring installation, trim work, etc.

​

• Help insure the efficient use of materials and maintain adequate stock of necessary equipment.

• Keep company vehicle, trailer, and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order and condition.

• Perform other duties as needed.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma required

• Industry experience is a plus- those with experience will be paid more.

• Have an understanding of power tools and general contracting equipment.

• Must be a good communicator and good with customers.

• Valid Driver’s License.

• Flexibility with hours (full-time or part-time basis).

• Physically capable of laborer duties, including lifting 50-80 pounds.

• Team player who can work independently or in a supervised setting.

• A willingness to learn grow within the trade.

• Understanding of basic math.
